Provide
QA leadership to the QBO Android team in developing state of the art
mobile applications that solve important on-the-go jobs and delight
customers with ease of use and time saving capabilities.
Drive new user growth globally with mobile as a front door to the QBO ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Applies mastery of software engineering to design, influence and drive Quality and testability of products and services.
- Scope of assignments is diverse, covering a broad range of technologies and a high level of complexity.
- Drives best practice adoption in mobile application design, development and testing with a special focus on Android technologies
- Drives end to end quality of the Android application (usability, functional and non functional)
- Determines methods and procedures to ensure quality software and services on new assignments
- Builds an internal and external network to leverage best practices and technologies.
- Coaches and mentors others on engineering and/or Quality methods and techniques.
- Coordinates technical dependencies with other teams.
- May lead technical activities for complex projects.
- Participates in the definition of project objectives.
- Influences organizational goals beyond a specific project.
- Work is reviewed by peers upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
- Drives change and continual improvement
- A strong proponent of Agile/ Scrum methodologies
