· While
acting as a liaison with the development and QA teams you will be a
primary contact to resolve production/hosting related issues.
· You will be responsible for promoting code to different environments as part of the periodic release schedule.
· You
would need to be a part of a rotating on call schedule where you will
be the POC/ Oncall support. in IST timing. (No Shifts.)

· Ability to think end-to-end about how to meet customer needs in a way that is operationally sustainable.
· Includes creating, developing & managing the deployment architecture for the application
· Developing and driving incident management processes, playbooks and stakeholder communication mechanisms
· Overseeing change management & configuration management operating mechanisms
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Internally motivated, self-starter with ability to plan, organize, and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results
· Must work well under pressure, balancing multiple priorities and objectives. Handles conflict well

Qualifications
Qualifications
· BE/B.Tech/MCA from reputed Educational Institutions with a consistently good academic record.
·
5-7 years of experience with a minimum of 4 years of experience
in administering Siebel 8.x, components, E-Communications, EAI
workflows, assignment management and monitoring in Unix/Linux
environment.
· Working knowledge with iPlanet, OHS, Apache.
· Automating deployments and basic understanding of linux OS.
·
SRF Migration and Repository Migration (Export , Import and DDL
Synch). Working knowledge on version controlling tool like Perforce,
SVN etc.
· Software Installation Like Database Server,
Siebel Server, Web Server, Report Server, Chart Server, Document
Server, Client , Tools, Patches ,Hot Fixes, Oracle and Patch management
of Siebel environment
· Understanding/Configuring High Availability Clustering through Microsoft(MCSE) & VERITAS
· Raise SR with Siebel and follow up to competition for product and deployment related fixes
· Worked on Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
· Preparing Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) documents.
·
Exposure to SalesForce (SFDC) applications, Order Management
Modules in Siebel environment would be an added advantage.
· Follows proper change management, incident management and problem management process.
· Conducting Performance test before Application Go live & release.
· Acted as primary escalation point for issues and problems within the shift and managing onsite interaction.
Good to have:
Production support exposure with Java based environment like Jboss/ tomcat is added advantage.- Imagine
