GENERAL SUMMARY

Partner
Systems Engineers train and enable EMC's Partners to position, sell and
compete with EMC products, solutions and services. They develop deep
relationships with Partners and their presales technical engineers to
create and expand EMC mindshare. They influence, encourage and urge
Partners to propose EMC solutions for all related opportunities within
their customer base. Partner SEs coach and mentor Partners in EMC sales
techniques and strategies to drive sales and accelerate their
independence. They are EMC evangelists and provide industry-best
leadership and expertise to our partners and their customers in their
journey to the Cloud and Big Data.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
| |
· Engages
and leverages corporate resources, abilities, budgets as appropriate to
assist Partners with customer account strategies and sales plans.

· Provides mentorship to more junior Partner Enablement Consultants.
| |
· Responsible for Partner enablement activity: Messaging sessions, whiteborad sessions, product updates, competitve information
| |
· Bi-Weekly communication to field and channel sales teams
| |
· Quarterly technical training
| |
· T&E - Expense management
| |
· Maintain and manage Partner SE skill ratings and IDPs
| |
· EMC Proven Professionl Certification desired.
