GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible
for selling the company's professional service, consulting products or
outsourcing services. Works closely with technical pre-sales engineers
to present customized service solutions to potential customers. Creates
detailed proposals and RFP responses with bid/proposal specialists.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
| |
· Responsible for developing a trusted advisor status with clients
| |
· Can effectively interface at many levels with senior managers
| |
· Can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships
| |
· Required
to use technical acumen, relationship development, and
consultative/Solutions selling skills to facilitate our transition to a
solutions-based engagement model
| |
· Leverages
appropriate EMC offerings and expertise to objectively address customer
needs in an effort to become their trusted advisor
| |
· Liaison between EMC sales leadership and ISC delivery
| |
· Responsible
for identifying and pursing sales leads, identifying professional
services opportunities and maintaining a robust pipeline of professional
services targets at assigned accounts
