JOB TITLE: Sr. Customer Manager- Data Center & Cloud Solutions
General Summary
The Customer Support Manager will play a critical role in the growth and success of VCE's Customer Service Division. You will manage the Customer Support Team members and provide key leadership to help deal with all levels of customer technical requests. Additionally, you'll work closely with other business units particularly Sales to respond to Critical Technical Requests and Escalations. You will need to use both Strong Business Communication & VCE related Technical Knowledge to address customer needs. Mission Critical Support and a Sense of Urgency will allow you to succeed.
Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for day
to day management of VCE’s Customer Service Team-this is a hands on
position so you’re expected to work closely with support team members to
deal with most critical customer requests
* Working closely with other key
functional leaders such as Sales and Professional Services to ensure that
Critical Customer Escalations are resolved quickly
* You will drive team performance
and create metrics to monitor their execution
* You must feel the Sense of
Urgency to deal with Mission Critical Support-proactively deal with
current and future issues
Re Required Skills and Experience
* You must have a background in
Customer Support Management with technical knowledge in VCE environments
(storage, network, virtualization, compute)-you will have the chance to
learn about V-Block related technology upon joining
* You should have experience
growing a Customer Support Team: day to day team management, driving their
performance and ensuring success
* The ability to work in a Cross
Functional Setting especially with Sales to help Deliver Service and
Quality to key accounts
* Management Experience of a
Technical Call Center setting would be nice, but not absolutely necessary
* Strong Business Communication
Skills: Native Japanese, Business English is MANDATORY
* Passion and Desire to work in
Start Up Environment is a Must
* Sense of Urgency, Proactive,
Independent Thinker
* 10-15 years work experience
required
* Bachelor’s Degree or relevant
work experience
