Manager Sales Associate

Job Location: New Delhi, India


General Summary
The Sales Associate (SA) organization is an extension of EMC’s sales team and is a resource which helps drive revenue through demand generation. The Sales Associate Manager will lead the recruitment, training and development, and day to day management of the Sales Associate team. They will also be responsible for developing their own skill sets surrounding technology foundations, EMC solutions knowledge, sales and soft skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Leads recruitment activity to bring the best talent to the team.
Delivers ongoing sales, business, and technical training courses to increase overall awareness of EMC’s solutions and go-to-market strategies. This includes administering written tests and oral presentations that measure sales competency and messaging ability.
Manages the SA team to generate qualified customer leads that the inside and outside sales teams can develop into sales opportunities.
Manages the SA team to maintain daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation quota through high volume dial activity.
Coaches and develops their team on an ongoing basis (call monitoring, pull-ins, etc…)
Enforces utilization of Salesforce.com to track leads and other sales activities.

Skills
Proven experience recruiting top sales talent
8+ years of experience
Passion for training and developing sales teams
Understanding of EMC’s products and their value to the customer
Good understanding of the competition
Good Communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Fluency in local language (market being supported) and English
